The WMS – Raw Material module primarily deals with, as the name suggests, the management of raw material warehouse. Born to offer a warehouse management tool to integrated entities, the system provides assistance for the storage and retrieval of reels based on their main characteristics such as type, height, and any certifications. In this way, paper picking, activated starting from corrugator scheduling, is facilitated by the correct layout of the warehouse.
The main logics of the module, such as material storage and location mapping taken from the “Finished Product WMS” module, can be easily applied to any other material present in the warehouse and managed in unit loads. By applying this solution to other process materials (such as paints or inks), picking can be activated starting from the programming of any machine on the production line and thus from its supply list.
